On Sunday, I have a flight from Frankfurt Am Main and I will reach India on Monday (3rd Oct).

I have a lot of stuff to do and hence I will keep it short and direct. Not necessarily. Mythologically, he follows Christ's footsteps in the last movie, Revolutions, but he also follows the footsteps of Rama and Parashurama. In fact, Neo is implied to be an incarnation of VISHNU himself. Smith is implied to be Shiva, and the Architect is implied to be Brahma. The Oracle is implied to be Kali.

In Revolutions, Rama Kandra (or Ramchandra) meets Neo in limbo, which is the space between the Matrix and the real world. If you think of the Matrix as heaven (which it's supposed to be) then you should understand this parallels Tulsi's Ramayana, where Parashurama meets Rama and Parashurama gives Rama his potency realizing his purpose as an incarnation of Vishnu has come to an end and he goes to the mountains which are between earth and heaven to meditate to the end of his life. In the same way, in Limbo or Mobil avenue, Neo's SIXTH incarnation which is Parashurama really, comes to an end, and Sati, the child of Rama Kandra and Kamala, bids him "Good morning" in other words saying today is a new incarnation. He's entered the 7th incarnation, which is divinity itself. He becomes divine by understanding what Rama has to tell him. Also, Neo tells Rama that he "knows" him. Not just literally but metaphysically as they are the same "soul" like Parashurama and Rama both come from Vishnu.

Throughout the trilogy, Neo acts just like a yogi. In Gnostic Christianity, it is believed Christ was indeed a teacher of Indian metaphysics, and may have studied in India. He tought such things as karma and reincarnation. Christ was regarded as the son of God, which yogis are considered themselves to be. Neo displays various siddhis in Reloaded and Revolutions as well.

The path of Neo begins as thus: in the original, he is merely a man in the Matrix, but ends with him becoming a god in the Matrix. Reloaded shows him as a god in the Matrix but an ordinary man in the real world. In Revolutions is where he truly transcends this and becomes divine in both real world and Matrix.

However, just like it is said that siddhis can sidetrack a yogi from spiritual enlightenment, the same thing happens with Neo in Reloaded. Remember, he thinks he's all powerful now because of his siddhis, and he falls into maya once again, just a different kind though. This time, he fails to realize the REAL world is also maya, and that the machines' influence lies there too. He was sidetracked by his siddhis and became arrogant until finally he falls into a coma and is enlightened once again. Then he transcends the real world and can stop sentinels there too. In each movie, he takes steps to transcend maya and ultimately attain moksha where he reunites with Brahman (not explicitly but it is implicit in the trilogy). Also, while Neo forms a cross at the end of the trilogy he ALSO forms a Lotus which is the flower of Vishnu representing the return of truth (satya) and eternal life or something like that. It's no coincidence that as Neo and Smith merge and "cancel" each other out, a new age is born, marked with the rising of the sun. It is the Golden Age or in Hindu terms Satya Yuga where man and God walk together. At the end of Reloaded, it shows that the Architect is isolated in a white chamber. He's completely cut off from others, but in the end of the Matrix Revolutions, he's seen walking in the fields of the Matrix.

IN reality though, the Matrix trilogy is concerned with the relationship between the Ego and the Self. It is made clear that Smith and Neo are the same. Mythologically this would fit in with Vishnu and Shiva being the same, but also in literal terms, Neo and Smith are part of the same personality, they are just divided. Neo is the Self, and Smith is the Ego, hence the references to the AntiChrist because Ego destroys and infects everyone around him. The Matrix takes place at the near end of Kali Yuga and then ends with the beginning of Satya Yuga. Also when Neo and Smith fight at the end of Revolutions, the Sanskrit chants are heard right out of the upanishads themselves. And there is the song that plays at the end credits of Revolutions as well, called Navras, which is most definitely Hindu.

Metal Wrath

Metal music is the most destructive form of music today...not only in the sounds but also in the damage done to the instruments during the gig. Heavy metal music fans are commonly identified by their unique looks and black T-shirts. More extreme fans worship metal by further going down the line by body piercing and tattoos. Though it might sound a bit wayward but this is how the world is for a normal metal head.

Posers are a breed apart. They want to pose because the believe that it gets them publicity and of course attention. They are basically attention seekers. Doing any thing in excess is insanity. But this holds true for normal people. You face a lot of patches in your life. A phase that is good for an appropriate age and time. A phase of collecting base ball cards. A phase of collecting marbles, shells, coins, stamps...u love it at the moment. And right now when you look back at the memories, all you think is " How stupid of me to do that sort of thing. "

Currently you might be collecting DVD's and VCD's of music u like. Your dad must be saying, "What has gotten into you ?????
Don't you see it???? It's all bullshit....a waste of money !!! "

And you must be thinking what the fuck dude....grow up man. You know what he is saying is true but still you know that everything has an age at which it happens ... and once you are out of that age ... you grow up.

But metal music is contrary to this. You will never hear a metal fan say, "I used to listen to Iron Maiden. Now I am into Paris Hilton." ... once a metal head ... always a metal head.
Heavy metal music is becoming damn popular. Kids growing their hair long, flashing the devil horn sign and playing their air guitars. But not everyone loves it. Critics think that its unsophisticated music for unsophisticated people. And it is sick, repulsive, horrible and dangerous kind of music. But opinions are like assholes ... everyone has one.

Metal music bears a sign that specifies what you worship. It is shown on what band T-shirt you are wearing. It is a symbol of what you represent. What makes metal a culture is the music primarily and the way people dress up. That makes the metal fan. Black is really important, leather is really important. Black represents danger, evil and also freedom. The kids who like metal look like they like metal. Everyone has long hair, everyone has tattoos, every one is in black.

Metal for me is a brotherhood...thats what keeps it alive. We pass it on to our younger brothers and to our friends. This is the way of life for me. I wake up. I got slayer on the stereo. Before I do anything. Some wake up drink coffee. I listen to slayer and testament.I mean it's in your blood. It's the air that you are breathing.

It's a sub-strata of society as it were. What attracts every metal fan to another is the tribal attitude. Lets go to a fest. Lets enjoy our-selves. They are the links that connect people to buisness. More than millions traverse back and forth everday. Most of them without a valid tricket. It's been a sad stroy that more than 70 percent people traverse travel without paying the goverment. I too use the Locals. But the difference is that I pay for every journrey I make. It's been a while now. And I am acquainted with most of the routes, stations and time required to traverse between any two stations.

My experience with locals is quite a remorse. I have lost quite a few things on my way back and forth. Sony ear phones being the most beloved. Others incluse my shades, a scratch on my new cell phone and my piece of mind :(

Travelling hasn't been fun exactly. When it's rush hours, you see myriads of people gushing in and then gushing out of the doors. You have to extremely strong to survive the effects. An average Formula 1 race can exert upto 10 G's max. That means that the driver might fell his weight to be 10 times more than usual. After the race is over, the drivers are exhausted and are in a state of mind thats still racing at 400 kmph. When you travel in Locals, you surely don't travel at 400 kmph, but the whole experience is enough for you to suffer a nausea when you are throttled out of the train with equal forces from all sides.

I got bruised a few times. People have lost more than blood while travelling. They have lost legs, hands, wallet, kids, relatives and ability to think after they travel through one of these creation of cacophony.

I been at one of these trains lately, just had a look up, saw the cieling fan and tube light ... what did u expect, Jack Sparrow ???. The Fan and the Tube lights were working alright. But if you did a carbon dating on the dust thats on the fans and the ligths, you will find that they are exactly one year old. The reason I say this is that these poor government equipments are washed and maintainted only on Diwali. Be it the Ram-Setu issue, or the terror strikes around the world. Having an orthodox approach towards TV viewing, I still have Cable TV coming at my place. With that piece of technology, I feel like I am banged right in the stone age of TV transmission. The other day I watched a DTH TV transmission, it was clear, as it is supposed to be. It is definitely high quality transmission. DTH transmission involves nominal initial installation cost thats for the dish and the box thats goes on ur TV. So, initially there is an expense of 1500 bucks. And then u pay for the channels that you want to surf.

The thing that pisses me off about Cable TV transmission is the number of Ads they transmit during cricket matches. Particularly about an incident that happened with India in the crunch overs. Now, India has a tendency of throwing away wickets in a chain. So one such incident happened. A wicket fell on the fourth ball of an over. Since I missed the ball, I was expecting a replay to be aired. But, instead of a replay, I got a quick Ad from one of the sponsors. Now, this is the interesting part. At the time when the Ad was aired, another Indian batsman arrived at the creases. He played at the next ball and got out. But this happened when the Ad was being aired. The Ad transmission got over at its normal time and Cable TV guys finally decided to air Cricket for some time. So as soon as the cricket came back on air, I was shocked at what had happened. It was very unlucky on my part to have missed the first wicket that fell on the fourth ball. I missed the wicket on the 5th ball due to the fuck heads sitting on their asses transmitting Cable TV Transmission. So back on air at the 6th ball. It was a dot ball. It has to be repeated again. They cannot do anything about it. They are blinded by the money they are getting paid. But they don't realize, that passionate fans like us will certainly make a point to switch from Cable TV to DTH.

Today there was a news ticker that Cable operators form Thane were infuriated with SRK's new Ad promoting Dish TV's DTH Service. They are pissed at SRK and condemn his Ad where SRK says that DTH transmission is clear, quality service. They feel that the guy who started his career from TV shows such as "Fauji" and "Circus", owed his success to Cable TV guys who distributed his shows to the millions of people around India. The felt that SRK should be thankful to them for his success, Instead of promoting something thats trying to cease their existence.

Well if you say so, in my view, this cable TV operators are a piece of sheet [ similar phonetic word with an "i" ]. "Fauji " and "Circus", both were aired on National Television - Doordarshan [which is free to air in India and other surrounding countries]. So I think they are making a fool of themselves on news channels that are hungry for more of "Breaking News". These people earn in huge proportions, and they are greedy for more. These breed should be put to rest by the state run good for nothing BMC. That will be like bitches killing bitches. I would like to see that happen somewhere in my time line.

Its as if we are watching the Ads and all of a sudden in between they are airing cricket for some break or to get some refreshments. You remove your shoes. Take a shower. Take the remote control and then switch on the idiot box for your daily news updates. In this process, nothing is missing. Nothing is out of place. But after you switch ON your TV, you surf through the channels, often coming across TV channels covering same news. It is worth mentioning that the TV channels take pain staking efforts in doing so. They have a man in around every city in the nation, there, all packed, locked and loaded to shoot some thing that can feebly increase the TRP of the pathetic news channel.

So you still keep on channel surfing ... trying to find the right channel for the evening. You come across 18 news channels. Most of them were running the same story all over again. You are getting bored of it now. You want to switch off your TV, have ur dinner and go to bed [cuz u know that ur boss is gonna kick yo ass if u late at werk]. But still you say to yourself ... just hang in there ... you might get the right channel. BANG !!!

There it was ... the news channel you were searching for !

It sure isn't informative for the evening ... but it does make you laugh. "Dil to Pagal Hai" ... yes I know that you know it. The news channel has a round of fake applause. By this time you are thoroughly entertained. For the first time you have seen grown ups act like an ass. You switch the channel before you loose your senses. You come across cable TV. Same old cable that puts on latest flicks after mid-night on weekdays. And on weekends, you can find the usual porno. So, you find the cable channel playing an ITEM song form a new flick. But wait. You can listen the song. But the video is not visible. Whats the point in showing an ITEM song without any visuals. You concentrate. You try to see the picture clear. But there is a problem here that can't be rectified by any TV. Not even Bravia by SONY.

The problem is that the screen is over swept by commercial ads. Lots of marbles, then came plaster of paris balls (called gota), we used to trade those things, play with it for the whole summer vacations. This was probably the stone age. Then came the copper age, we collected rods and played by inserting them on wet grounds in monsoon. When the rods came, we believed that the marbles were very lame and so uncool. Rods soon lost touch too, as we all got new bicycles. Brand new cycles, wash it everyday after the evening gets over. Washing the cycles too got boring and stopped after I got the cycle repaired for the inevitable puncture. As we grew older, the side wheels got off. We now rode fast and rode fast enough to burst open a rash on the knee every other weekend. Mom's always giving that extra beating for not having bath after the evening playtime.

Then I came to Mumbai, we were still kids. Following cricket, we found this new trait. Cricket Cards. Cricket cards free with every Center Fresh Chewing gum. Damn, we were crazy after that shit. We used to buy 10 each day and though were never able to chew all of them, we sure busted all our pocket money on it. The basic thing was that the cards were in numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, ..... 100. We collected all the cards from 1 too 100. We were the proudes brothers in the society. We were everyone's envy. I got cards from the farthest medical shops. When ever we went at any relatives place, we used to go straight to the utility store and ask, "Center Fresh Cricket Cards hai kya ??? "
Shopkeeper said, "Haa ... Hai naa"
"Batao konsa hai"
Shopkeeper, "Ye lo"
Puts the bunch of cards in our hands. We select the cards we desire. Keep doubles of the rare cards. Count the number of cards. And then ask him to hand over the number of chewing gums.
We had the best deals in the whole school and society. Until one day, a guy came by and showed me a cricket card with the number 586. I was so shit spooked by it. For a moment I thought, it was a trick. But then it was no trick. Every other guy had the same card. Erlier there were 1 to 100. Now the number 586 was seeming very spookey. Just the thought of eating another 500 center fresh made me dizzy. I told my brother about it. We mutually agreed to stop colecting the cards and not to take them to school hence forth. It was a clever fluke decision because the nex week we had bag checks and kids with Center Fresh Cricket Cards were given a REMARK with red pen. And a REMARK is the worst thing that can happen to you at that age. The one with the RED pen means that it's chronic. And even diseases like Chimaira are curable in front if the Red Inked Remark.

We pated the 1 to 100 cards on a small notebook and opened it on weekends and cherished it for years to come. Then the gum started to get cranky and the cards started falling off. So we removed all the cards from the book and traded with a small kid who we knew was infatuated with the Center Fresh Cricket Cards.

Then we saw one day, that the Times of India also printed out a weekly newsletter on Cars and automobiles. Modern cars, racing cars, the Lamborghini, the Ferrari, the Mercedes, the BMW. Damn so many of them. We then made a scrap book of all the cars that came on Speed - Weekly newsletter on cars. We even bought glossy magzines from pasti ki dukaan and cut pasted the stuff on the scrap book. That too subsided with age. Then came the age of Tazos. Get one free with every pack of Lays Chips. We even bought a special star treck tazo file to keep the tazo's in one place and to show it to some one to trade it for the Looney tazo collection.

Stamps and coins were on and off. Never lost touch on either of them. Collect them now as well.

I always look back and think, "How dumb of me to do that !!!"

"Was that me collecting those center fresh cards ?"

"I think it was my brother ... "
But it was me.

Today, I feel that I was a moron doing all that. But nevertheless, I am repeating the same thing all over again. I go on Orkut. I hang out there throught the day. On yahoo, on facebook, on forums ... doing what ? Selecting iLike and iMovies. Buggers, it makes me feel as if I m doing the same thing all over again. Just the medium has changed. All the things are same. The cricket cards and tazos have become looney applications on Orkut and Facebook. The reputation has become the number of scraps and the number of friends. Nothing has changed. Nothing ever will.

And thats the end of the line. I feel that adults would behave like adults, but if the old fox comes disguising under the skin of a sheep, no one will know for the first time ... it's years after that they realise how stupid they were.

Its not stupid, its noobish.

Schumi | 15 years in the making

Its long time since all of us are treated with this McLaren Mercedes stiff among themselves. Lewis Hamilton is a phenomenon in himself. The F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone himself thanked this one of a kind "rookie" for his skill sets. He is termed rookie cuz his first championship race was an F1 grand prix. Alright so it's admitted that this Rookie is one of the most talented guys around the racing circuit. On the other end Fernando Alonso doesn't seem to change his approach towards his competition. Previous year we had a similar thing between him and Michael Schumacher, but Schumi being far better sports person never really got dragged in the arena. Michael Schumacher has reigned over Formula 1 for 15 years, won 7 championships and become the undisputed king of Formula 1. The last race of the 2006 season [Brazilian Grand Prix] and he could make it 8 titles. Schumi has a mountain to climb. He starts 10th and then a puncture ends his title hopes and he finishes 4th. Thats the end of Michael Schumacher. The Champion. Schumacher locked his brakes and couldn't slow down. It was a simple driving mistake from Michael. Michael snatched a brake and the snatched both of the brakes and panics and stays on the pedal and had a big impact at a very considerable speed at the tyre wall corner. That year Ferrari won their first constructor's championship since Michael joined them. But it was bitter sweet. Michael's crash caused by a rear break failure left him with a badly broken leg and a question mark whether the great German would ever return to form. He missed his next six races and a chance for claiming his first Driver's title for Ferrari.

But Michael fought back. On the last lap, it didn't look that there were going to be any "Team Orders". But Barrichello got real close to Schumacher on the last curve and Schumi went on to win the race effectively due to these "Team Orders". Rubens Barrichello let through Michael Schumacher to win the race. Michael Schumacher was never heard booed before. It was such a shame. No good for the sport. Not good for anybody. A case of "Team Orders" at the very end of the race resulted in embarrassment and criticism that rocked the sport to its core. Damaging Michael Schumacher and Ferrari's reputation. A Reputation that wasn't helped by an ill advised attempt to put things right things later in the season at Indianapolis. A clumsy staged finish that left the American crowd scratching their heads and Formula 1 fans deeply disillusioned. According to the computer Barrichello had been given the win after following the whole race behind Schumacher. Rubens Barrichello won the Grand Prix. That day F1 died of shame.

There was personal tragedy too. At the 2003 San Marino Grand Prix, Schumacher raced and won despite hearing the news of the death of his Mother at the very day of the race. Through all this the five seasons from 2000 through 2004 belonged to Schumacher. But that was all about to change. A young Spaniard and another team on a come back charge were about to take the spring out of the Michael's step. Fernando Alonso did the impossible. He outed the Schumacher's "Schumacher". Aggressive, daring, even a little arrogant. Alonso took the old man of the sport and he won. And no one loved it more than Renault's Flavio Briatorri, who had never forgiven Michael Schumacher for leaving his Benetton team for Ferrari 9 years before.

2005 was not a good season for Ferrari and Michael Schumacher. Rule changes hurt their car. Alonso and Renault hurt their invincible reputation. And by the middle of the season, Schumacher admitted title defeat. He was right. Alonso won his first championship. For the first time in 5 years, Michael was not number 1.

For 2006 season, didn't look like it is going to be any better for Michael. A massive smash in Australia gave the race to Alonso. A few races later, at the twisty Monaco circuit where a pole position is as good as winning the race, Schumacher did something that left his reputation in tatters. After qualifying at pole position he made a mistake somewhere in the middle if the first sector and halted on the track when others were at their respective flying laps. It spoiled everyone else's lap too. The Yellow flags were out. That kept him in pole position. Alonso came out on a flier and went past Schumacher but missed out on pole. Michael was again called upon as a cheat. He was thrown back down the grid and Alonso went on to win the race. "It was the cheapest, Dirtiest thing that I have ever seen in Formula 1.", that was what Keke Rosberg had to say about the incident. Adding insult to injury Flavio Briattory commented, "This is the way Ferrari manage you know ... "

But Monaco set the tone for another Schumacher come back. He may have scored only 2 wins in first 9 races in 2006. But he fought back to win 5 of the next 7. Classic Ferrari. Classic Schumacher. In the middle of this run, came Monza and the news that had been hanging over the whole season. Eddie Jordan said, "I think Michael had been pushed out. they had already signed Kimi Räikkönen and it was very difficult for them to get rid of Massa."

Martin Brundle, Micael's former racing partner said, "It's a shame and you could construct to it that he has run away from racing with Räikkönen next year as well. So we are watching history repeat itself. Schumi moved into Ferrari to have a good future [ which he did by all means possible ] ... I wonder what will happen of Alonso ? Will he move into Ferrari to have a better future ? Lets hope not cuz Massa and Kimi are quite a handful at the moment. And as far as terms with team mate Lewis Hamilton goes, Alonso will have to make a rough decision for himself cuz as I see it now, he is not getting along with McLaren Mercedes Benz. He is a spoilt sport but has not got the character Schumi had. Thats probably the only thing that went wrong with Alonso. And also Flavio's sad vibes that got hold of his championship in danger. Move out Alonso, try Spyker F1, ohh no sorry, Vijay Mallya ensured that you just moved out of the racing arena ... cuz in 2008 Spyker Kingfisher is gonna throng upon the Formula 1 event with Karan Chandok, Armaan Ibrahim and Narain Karthikeyan.

I think its all about winning. You don't win silver, you loose the gold. [Yes, Stole it from SRK speech]. And thats what is important. Knowing what you loose and trying to get it matters, Instead of raking on your success of winning the silver. You win, you will be remembered. If you loose, no one cares how you loose. No one knows how India got kicked out of Cricket World Cup in 2007. But they certainly will remember the Twenty20 World Cup victory for years to come. How they were received and how they were felicitated by mumbai ... the politicians were typical ass holes. I don't give a shit about them. I am talking about the Mumbai people at the airport and on the streets. People won't remember how they got thrashed by Australia within two weeks of their victory in 5 out of 7 matches. [with one no result]. It makes sense, doesn't it ?

News should be Regulated !

Media has got highly powerful status in today's world. In India they are self proclaimed Gods. At least they want to think on those lines. But it is becoming hazy. The topics media focuses now-a-days seem to be more retard than the correspondent interviewing Khali and his wife.

Media has got responsibility, a role in society, a presence that supposed to mean something. With news channels on the rise, the search for TRP is on the rise. With invasion of privacy, media is all guns blazing going for the kill.

No survivors left at the end of the battle. The battle for the TRP ... the ultimate priced thing thats so god damn virtual and so god damn feeble that it means nothing to people who get affected by the tyranny of these blood sucking monsters.

At this point in time, one thinks that the Government should regulate news channels. The story covered, the qualty of content presented and the accountability of the information given out. People won't buy your cookies unless they contain marujuana. This is what the media has been thinking. Pricky intent leading to manipulation of more intensive subjects. News channels soon will hire people that can make news. Produce news. They will exhaust out of topics. One fine day they might even apologise for "no more news" ... where are the old days ?

I was at my Nani's place where there was reception ... but only of National Television ... National News. Though they did not cover the second innings of *all* the IPL matches, but the news showed had a sense of purpose. A sense of maturity. These sissy news channels show "Doors of the heaven", "Arjuna's Dog in Kashmir", "Hanumahan on the wall", "Chris Angel performing something weired"(as always ... that too downloaded from You Tube ... sad ... very sad).

We have more things in the world that affect you and me rather than seeing Khali pumping iron. But no, khali is khali ... the mahabali ... children love him ... he loves children. Goddamn posers. Posers in true sense. I mean, you can see it for once, but then you run the story every 2 hours for 4 weeks ... make it obsolete ... to the point when everyone stops giving a damn about how Khali first proposed her wife !

On more personal note, I hate the current situation. I hate the Indian news channels. They don't make any sense. They don't have any sense of responsibility. They are not mature. They are not accountable. (Adnan Orkut Murder Case). It is inhuman. It should be regulated.

64 kbps

64 kbps - Very important skills dude .... its pronounced as "चौसठ" or Chausaat.

You don't know what is 64kbps ??? ... Ah ... this is easy ... just read 15 minuted back. You write the first line and all of a sudden, you have second thoughts. You think that the answer to the question might be something different than what you are going to pen down. You panic for a moment. Then you realize that, you need to start off with the rest of the answers and come back to this one later when everything is sorted out.

Move on to the next question. Ah! this is easy. Just read it 10 minutes back. You start off with impressive writing so that the paper "checker" gets impressed by your writing. You take your own time underlining words in every other line and using scales in the diagrams. You suddenly realize that time is of essence and you need to finish up with the important part of the answering.

You start scribbling now. The paper seems easy now. You tally the number of answers that you wrote and how many marks they will fetch you. You watch is staring at you from that desk. You just remove it off your hand to easy off the weight off your shoulders (hand actually).

You look at the watch. its digital (mine is). You ask yourself, "Is this the time ? Or is this the 3 hour timer that I set at the beginning ???"
You double check. It is the time, you forgot to set the 3 hour timer in this exam as well !!! Agrhhhh !!!! You still have one hour to go. To go for the final kill. (for engineers at our university, this moment is very precious and auspicious. If you live to see this moment, chances are that you might clear the paper !)

You are in the last unit of the paper. 20 marks. Thats it. As an engineer, people tend to have completed 4 units of any given paper. In the 11th hour of exam, we do have an option of doing the fifth unit or revising the previous 4. We do the fifth. Very crudely. Very superficially. Thats what fucks up the rest of the 4 previous ones. So we have an engineer that trying to make sense of words so that he can grab 16 off those 20 marks in the 5th unit. In this attempt, he tries to mix and match the answers randomly, so that "the checker" doesn't really know what you have said. He will just realize that you have tried to pen down all the words you have read in the 5th unit. Even though the words are poorly joined by connectors, you try and make a final impression. At the end of the unit, you feel as if it was a weak attempt to impress with fake and fascinating answers. You feel exactly like you are Wiley. E. Coyote from the road runner show and one of your spoofs have goofed you up in the end. Beep beep. You are now officially fucked.

You ignore it. You remind yourself that it was the 5th unit. You were not meant to write it anyways. Whatever you get is a positive for you.

From the back of your head, you hear these dreading words, "Ten minutes left. ... They have Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation well established. Mumbai, because of this city, the focus has shifted in Maharashtra.

I have studied at a place in the interiors of Maharashtra (Khandesh - Malegaon, Dhule) aka North Maharashtra. I was at Dhule. This place was Jurassic Park for me. Lucky me I did not find any Dinosaurs. Probably because there wasn't a single museum in a 500 km radius. That place seems like the epicenter of the last Ice age. The place where people have no railway stations. Oh god ... No, I have mistaken. There is a railway station at Dhule. The only problem is that within a span of 24 hours of any given weekday, only a single train arrives at the place. The name of the train is Dadar- Amrutsar Express. No MIDC thats functional. It just has perfectly functional gates and a BSNL office .... wait thats fucking BSNL. So no reprise there too. No companies that employs engineers despite of having 6 engineering colleges and 3 medical colleges. Moreover the dirtty politicians are building other 3 engineering colleges for converting black to white (or green or gold). That place used to have 9 hours regular power cut off's in the month of April, May and June. Thats the period when the exams get conducted too ... no wonder I had so many KT's.
:P

The roads were laid when we heard the news that our PM Manmohan Singh was going to visit our engineering college. DDT sprinkled in the gutters, the walls repainted, the college gate (only the front visible portion) painted, the section of the building visible from road side repainted. Big tambura prepared for the PM speech. Alas PM had change of plans, and eventually he skipped the special appearance. Thats the most development that I have seen during my stay at Dhule. People must be pretty pissed off with the quality of life out there. Lame road construction (if any), no malls, no place to hang out with friends, no good hotels, poor electricity supply, no town planning, no industrial center, no transport system, no nothing. It literally seems that the place has never emerged out of stone age.

And after all this, we hear a bunch of politically challenged body "Jai Maharashtra, Jai Hind."
I feel proud too ... but you cannot ignore the facts and figures. Look at it yourself. People out there need development too ... it's not even about "need" development, they deserve it, especially after your vote bank political statements that you give out in the election campaign.

It's high time now and drastic steps need to be taken to bring in some changes. Decentralization of authority and power needs to be done. When I say this, I mean that other parts of Maharashtra should not be ignored as if they are inhabited by animals and algae. And stop giving importance to these politically challenged parties trying to win elections chanting "Jai Maharashtra". Bunch of posers. Hypocrites.

Iceman's the new champ !!!

Kimi Raikonnen ... The ICEMAN ... has been confirmed as the new Formula 1 2007 Driver's champion. When he finished his last race at podium, I thought it was over. The race commentators never mentioned it, I was trying to catch me breath, still shocked from what had happened. And Kimi never reacted to it much. He just got out of the car, punched his hands up in the air ... and next thing that I see is that he is gone to the podium. No team hugs, no screeching. Nothing. He went on to the podium, had his bottle of champagne, gulped it, got into post race presentation and poof !!! Over. Thats not how a finale is supposed to end. Thats normal for a mid-season race in the gulf. But he knew of it before hand. And I thought it might be in his blood....cold blood...Iceman naa !

But then I was hurt. I realized that the championship did not belong to Kimi yet. The permutations have worked for Kimi for the race. The only thing that was left out was the official ruling by the governing body about the championship. That took some time. But I was confident that Kimi would make it to the top this time round. The only thing that was standing between Kimi and the Championship was time.

Kimi could have never been over-ruled as a champion. Remember the great controversy. In case the governing body were to strip Heidfeld and Kubica of their points in the last race, it would be inevitable decision to strip Mclaren drivers out of their points too. They were not stripped [hehe], hence I thought Kubica and Heidfeld won't be fined. And it turned out to be like that. Lucky Kimi. Lucky me.

Alonso ... But this time, its not for the Driver's championship. It's more than that. It's a permutation that can very well shape up F1 2008 season. Don't believe me ?

Look at this side of the story.

Say if Alonso were go to RBR [Red Bull Racing], surely he wont prove much to the world then. Coulthard could have won the 1999 Driver's championship and posed a serious threat to Schumi. But Schumi was driven to win at all the times when he started from his pole. So Coulthard joined a minnow team and lost his glory to monetarily untuned cars. So fate will be the same for Alonso, even if he gets his part right [which is of course driving and blackmailing !!!], then too the odds will be stacked against him.

Say if he joins a team thats anything but top notch, results will surely favor the top teams [Ferrari and McLaren (that functions on stolen Ferrari technical data sheets and got stripped of all it's 218 points)]. The third team was a having about 50 % of the points of the team that qualified 2nd in constructors championship in 2007[that would be Ferrari 204, BMW 101, Renault 51 and so on ... ].

Say if he continues his expedition with McLaren [I certainly hope that happens], then the fight will emerge as a battle and the battle will end up as a bloody WAR in Formula 1. But on the other side of the story, Ferrari could easily sweep 1,2 at the Driver's Championship in 2008. It will only help the other talents like Kubica and Heidfeld to try their shot at 3rd and 4th spots if the McLaren drivers crash into each other and knock on the heaven's doors [at the same time ... that would be a dilemma for God too ... if they both get in Heaven at the same time ... Heaven won't remain Heaven ... it would be Bloody Hell ... sounds nice anomaly though.]

So it's a win win situation for Ferrari from this point. It's an old saying that goes with the moment [Two cats and a monkey. Two cats fight over a bread. Any one did something that hurt you, necessarily doesn't mean that it was an intended thing. It might been an act that was not intended on his part to be something that offensive to you. Action is neither good nor bad. It is the MOTIVE behind the action that is good or bad. We should act under all circumstances. If the action has amounted to a murder, and the intent is good, then even an act of murder is considered right in every sense. Thats what our Indian Government acclaimed "The Bhagwat Gita" states. So stop analyzing things.

The things start all over again ... you become agitated like a rebellious teenager with puberty oozing with every word spoken. If you know the truth and do nothing about yourself ... it server no purpose ... rather be an ignorant than an wise fool. The other type of fool that is. A fool that knows things but cant implement them.

Thats the breed that stays mystified by the facts but are too busy to implement. Fools that just do the foreplay and never move on to the real thing. Thats a good one...just made it up.

The reason behind being simple. In todays world everything that we do is with a purpose. Something that is done without purpose is very hard to achieve.

So the root cause of failure ... that is "purpose" ... is the only thing that keeps us going ahead. Something that is achieved without purpose is achieved better. Better in terms of time and value. Better in terms of quality of life. Lewis Hamilton is clear favourite, thanks to a four-point lead over McLaren team mate Fernando Alonso, but the odds rarely tell the whole story. After one of the most troubled title defences in living memory, Alonso will not give in without a struggle; and then there is Kimi Raikkonen, waiting to pounce, Ferrari very much at the top of their game. But who will win? And why? We examine the factors to be considered…

Kimi Raikkonen

Why he’ll win…
Third time lucky: Raikkonen has been here before. He may not have won a title, but he’s been runner-up twice, in 2003 and 2005. In ‘03 he missed out by just two points, after pushing Michael Schumacher all the way to the wire. Such experience stands him in good stead - you can rely on Raikkonen to give it his all - and not to crack under pressure. On top of that he likes coming from behind - just look at his fearless fight through the field at Fuji recently.
His team mate: with Felipe Massa out of the championship running, past form suggests Ferrari will do everything in their power to make sure his main role is a supporting one to Raikkonen’s charge for victory in Brazil. Definitely a luxury Alonso and Hamilton won’t be enjoying!

Why he won’t win…
Reliability: relative to McLaren, Ferrari’s has been pretty weak this season and just one more problem - in either qualifying or race - would put Raikkonen out of contention.
He’s too far behind: he trails Hamilton by seven points and Alonso by three, which means not only does Raikkonen almost certainly need to win in Brazil - ideally with Massa second - he also needs some serious misfortune to come his rivals’ way. Even if he leads home a Ferrari one-two, with Alonso finishing third, Raikkonen would need Hamilton to come home no higher than sixth to steal the title.

Lewis Hamilton

Why he’ll win…
He’s ahead: despite his error at the Shanghai pit entrance, consistency has been key to Hamilton’s campaign and his lead means he needs the fewest points from Brazil to take the crown. If he can finish immediately behind Alonso - even if the Ferraris are ahead - he will be champion.
Pressure: in many ways he’s not really under any - if he wins he’s the first rookie champion; if he loses he’s still had the greatest rookie season in Formula One history - and, be it Alonso or Raikkonen, he will have lost to one of the most highly-rated drivers of the modern era.
Team spirit: while no one - even Alonso - doubts McLaren will continue to treat their drivers equally in terms of equipment and strategy, Hamilton knows that most in the organisation would almost certainly prefer to see him to win the title - a pretty substantial weapon to have in your armoury, especially when your main rival is also your team mate!

 Why he won’t win…
Inexperience: Alonso has won two world championships, Raikkonen has come close to winning two. For Hamilton, it’s virgin territory. Yes, he’s taken titles before, but never under the intense pressure and media scrutiny that accompanies Formula One. Indeed, could his China gaffe be the first sign that he is starting to crack? On top of that he has never raced at Interlagos.
Pressure: in other ways, he is under intense pressure - pressure that has intensified immensely since his error in China. It is coming at him from all quarters, either directly or indirectly - from his rivals; his team; the media; himself; and, arguably most of all, from genuine Formula One fans around the world who, after a season seemingly dominated by off-track politicking, desperately want to see the Hamilton fairytale come true.

Fernando Alonso

Why he’ll win…
When the going gets tough: the media may have over-egged the situation, but there is no denying that Alonso is a pretty isolated figure at McLaren, and few in the paddock expect him to continue with the team next season. You might think such a situation would de-motivate a driver, but in Alonso’s case he almost seems to thrive on it. This time last year he was complaining that Renault were not giving him adequate support in his championship battle with Michael Schumacher, claiming he often felt ‘alone’ within the team. It didn’t stop him putting in devastating drives when they were most needed - notably his victory in Japan, which all but secured his second drivers’ title.
Risky business: if Alonso really is convinced that McLaren are on Hamilton’s side he may decide he has nothing to lose in being ultra aggressive, both on the track in his driving, and off it with the mind games that inevitably accompany a title decider. If he can get under Hamilton’s skin and convince his team mate that he cannot afford to play things conservatively - which in reality he can to a degree - then he knows he is more likely to force him into another rookie error. In this respect, Alonso’s isolation within the team is almost an asset - it means he will remain an unknown quantity to Hamilton, who can never be sure quite what the double champion has hidden up his sleeve.

Why he won’t win…
He’s not leading: Alonso has never come from behind to win a championship. In 2005 he had a healthy margin over Raikkonen throughout the year and wrapped up the title with two rounds to spare. Things were closer last year - he was level with Michael Schumacher heading to the penultimate race - but he never actually dropped behind the German.
He’s already lost: as McLaren have discovered, Alonso is a hard man to read. If he genuinely believes that Hamilton is destined for the title, could it be that he has already given up hope? Numerous comments attributed to the Spaniard in the press suggest he believes the title has already been decided off the track. The sign of a beaten man? Or perhaps just one trying to out-psyche his team mate?

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://xsystem1.blogspot.com/2007/10/question-is-why.html' title='F1 2008 Winner is _______ !!!
